The Holiday.. Almost There..

Smile. How curvy can it  get when you meet a person, not just a person but a buddy of yours who drops by, just to have some fun with you? Yes, me and mani were all smiles, the moment we caught the first look of Tanooj, almost after a year, at the airport, since he left us and relocated to Texas. The weird part was, I mistook him that he was going to punch me/hit me on my arm but he actually was trying to hug me. That was one of the instant ‘LOL’ moment for me and mani out of the many more for the rest of the week. :D :D

After receiving tanooj at airport...

            Well, this post certainly preceded and ofcourse interrupted the flow of my ‘TRIP TO INDIA’ episodes. Well, my buddy Srikanth is definitely going to be mad at me for that, for he’s waiting for the ‘Episode 3’. But, as I’m moving at a snail’s pace, from the past two months, this indeed got up the ladder knocking down the flow of the ‘India trip episodes’. Lets hope I finish these by this year ending. :D :D This also brings to my notice that August went by post-less, with half of September through.

            How many of you really agree that most of the time we friends go blah blah and blah about the stuff which doesn’t make any sense? :D :D That day, 19th of August 2012, the day tanooj reached Cleveland, we were blabbering about stuff which I laugh at, now, on the way back home from Airport. Finally after a while, Tanooj, my room mate once upon a time, gets to see our apartment. We already made thousands of plans to be done before we actually set off on a vacation. But, the important thing then was to have food for all of us were hungry, as a matter of fact, our guest was. Wandering on the streets of Euclid Avenue, from East 13th St to 21st St, we stopped by at our favorite dine-in restaurant, Rascal House Pizza. We set off home with our own customized pizza, which was later shared by 4 different hands ;) J J

            And this was followed by the same ‘blah-blah-blah’ conversation in our balcony but the only difference this time was the people involved. Me and tanooj were joined by Rahul and Yeshwanth with carry out from an Indian Restaurant. :D :D More food right, that only meant more calories.. :D :D But this time, the conversation lasted until we finished dinner, with tanooj’s favorite song playing, don’t ask me about the song though :P :P

The rest of the week until Friday went by in a nano second’s time. Loads of fun, countless memories. Best of them were, visit to Shiva-Vishnu temple and the long photoshoot :P, the walk to tower city on a Monday morning with tanooj asking Rahul for a brisk walk whilst he hesitated even to walk, a dinner at Indian Flames(though I hate that crappy resto,had to accompany my friends), mani and myself bursting out to laughter listening to tanooj and yeshwanths’ conversation in English :D :D, funniest driving lessons on two different nights (big thanks to Tanooj for those two valuable driving lessons though), a drive to Detroit-Canadian border ended on a tragic note that we had to cancel our trip to Toronto(the thing which I had seen coming, yet was silently hoping we could make it), a lunch buffet at Cici’s Pizza, A night show for Julaayi, so many plans for a game of bowling which failed almost flawlessly(:|), lunch at Priya Indian Cuisine. Okay. Those were not just the best. But almost all of them. Crazy me. Figuring out how to put them all and finally I did it. Yaayy…!! :D :D

At the temple..

 Friday 24th of August 2012.

Okay. Nothing to wonder about that day. Hold your horses and keep reading. That was the day, we set out on our trip to Niagara to New York City and Back to Cleveland, giving us three full days of Fun. But on the flipside, something was building up with in me. That, all of this is going to end the following  Monday morning, when Tanooj catches his flight back to Texas and I have to come back to reality, which I wanted never to happen. But you know how it goes.

We finally set off on our trip(I wouldn’t actually call it a road trip, but I want to) after a stupid event that morning, which is not worth discussing here. Anyways, the first stop was at Waffle House(a  good restaurant for breakfast, which is open 24/7). The idea came from the ‘Mr. Foodie aka Guru Yeshwanth’ :D. We dint want to stop for couple of reasons. One, that is his favorite place, two because it was suggested by him. Anyways we did. And I loved my breakfast. J J

The next stop was a Gas exit at Hamburg. Mani wanted a smoothie from dunkin donuts. But she settled for a Large Cool-Latta(Guess I spelled it correct). Despite the warning from the vendor, exactly in his words, “Large is like too large Mam”, but the affirmative ‘yes’ from Mani, left him with no other option but to give a large one. Okay, it was too large. But atleast had she got a nice flavor, rather than a simple Vanilla, we’d ve finished. It was sitting next to tanooj, in the ‘holder’ place. I’m going to leave this topic here, for it has a role to play later. :D :D

            With this happening, we almost entered Buffalo, NY. Excitement starts growing in my heart. My dream place. I really don’t know what’s this thing with me about the waterfalls. But I happen to love the smallest of the waterfalls. But, considering the fact, that this is one of the best places on our Planet, do I have to explain how excited I was about it.

Since the minute I stepped in the US of A in the January 2011, I was fantasizing to visit Niagara(Not exactly the minute I entered, but then you understood right). When it was almost certain that I was about to visit it in the next 15 mins, my mind started calculating the wait. I came up with a rough number of 17. 17 months of wait was about to end finally. Let me count it again. :D Shayy.. It’s more than 18 months. Sorry for the wrong number in facebook that day. My apologies. :P :P

As we finally parked our car and started walking, I kind off was unwilling to move. I was almost seeming like I had no interest in the vacation. The place which I was longing for, from a year and a half, couldn’t even grab my attention. Look how my mood flipped. But, it disappeared in that flash of a second my eye caught the view. Right in front of me, stands the sight of the most amazing place I’ve visited in my life so far.

And guess what. You are going to hate me for this. You’re gonna have to wait until my next post, to actually read the experience of Niagara. Ahahahahaha. That is how I wanted to do it. :D :D

Life is beautiful. But it was Blissful on Friday, 24th of August when I was wandering on one of the best places on this planet.
