Fun Revisited....!!! :) Platinum Days..!! :P

Okay… It all started when I screwed up my Eamcet exam in 2006… If I had been a bit more cautious and revised the stupid Organic Chemistry.. I would’ve got a much better rank, for which my Eamcet rank was 16,464.. I was really hoping for a 4 digit rank rather than a 5 digit one… In the counseling, I chose MRIT(Malla Reddy) and IT as Major..!! I don’t know why, but here comes Miss. Kavya, induced me saying Guru Nanak is a very good college, nice infrastructure and most importantly management seat is only around 3.5 Lacs…!!! Exactly in her words she told me that campus of guru nanak is just like “oka chinna JNTU”…!!!

As soon as I was aware of it… My shunting starts at home… Mummy-Daddy… Nenu Guru Nanak ki velthaanu… Finally… They’ve got me into the college.. Not until the first week at Guru Nanak passed by I dint knew… I was actually interested in going to Hell…As a matter of fact I dint feel it was like hell until.. Um..  like my second year or third year..!! J J How many of you guys dare to go to Hell? We all GNECians are proud about it… Wat say guys? Ha ha ha…!!!

Anyways… It was the first day… The Orientation… I guess it was September 7^th 2006..!! I was late,obviously… Mom, Dad accompanied me.. Never knew anybody at college.. And I remember the orientation was in one of the lecture halls in Human Sciences Department/CSE block..!! Damn.. there was not even enough room for parents to sit with their YOUNG ENGINEERS(:D :D) and attend the orientation.. Forget about the students..!! Few guys bunked the orientation too…!!! Ha ha ha…!! The notable thing from orientation was the mic system, nobody could hear what the people on dias were speaking…!!! I could see one parent waving as an indication that they couldn’t hear while all others were hesitating to do so… Later, I got to know it was Suresh Uncle(Vipin’s Pops).. :D :D :D The orientation ended with my pops having lunch with Topalle Aditya’s dad…!!! The first thing they both would talk is … :D :D veellu baaga kastapadali…. Baaga chadavali…!!! And we both were just looking at each other’s face…!!! J J

As days passed by… I was totally lost…!!! Could see many people… If u guys know this or not.. I’m very choosy… and when it comes to friend’s… I’m even more… ;) It took time to get to know how people are..!!! Few were very good.. down to earth… but few were so damn mean…!!! Anyways.. In the first two or three days.. I found a friend in Harsha Balam… The first day we were asked to sit in EEE block.. And I sat with Harsha Balam and Kamal Reddy… There was Network Analysis class.. two guys in the front row were going on yelling all the answers.. Only after many days I got to know them.. it was Abhijit and Nikhil Gupta..!! :D :D Abhijit oka jaffa gaadu… and Nikhil oka manchodu.. :D :D He was carrying a look-alike pokiri hair style entire first year… ;) atleast that is how I felt… :P :P

Moved back to my block few days later… ECE block.. I was in ECE2 section.. we weren’t sorted alphabetically yet.. When I walked in to the room.. I could see one giant sitting with a thin lean guy… :D :D first of all, both of them were adjusting in that tiny bench.. :D :D I went up to them and asked If i could sit with them.. Mr. Hari Krishna(the gaint) made me sit in between them,to my other side was Jay Kamdar… :D :D(the lean boy… :D) That day passed by with Hari Krishna giving me all sort off weird looks… But now.. Hari Krishna is one of my jigs… :D :D

Another  interesting thing should give the intro of my another buddy…It was Engineering Drawing Practice lab… EDP(muddu peru… :D :D) lab… maa akhil gaadu koncham thopu annamaata… :D :D he used to listen to music all the while.. we both had the same mobile… Nokia 6030 for the entire first year… So, it was in the lab… We were working on the charts drawing something(I don’t remember..). and this Akhil boy… thurum laaga was listening FM on loud speaker… And the lab assistant caught him… ROFL…!!! He was indeed the talk of the class for that day… LMAO…!!! He indeed had to work really hard to impress the lecturer for the rest of the year… LOL..!!!

And the other thing worth mentioning in first year was our Route Number 22… Our Coll Bus…!!! J That was exclusively juniors bus… Super fun in the bus…!! J “Smack that” by Akon was our anthem every day evening on the way back home…!!! Here comes Mr. Vipin in to the picture.. trying to teach Sravan Kumar lyrics of the song… :D :D Oh yea.. forgot to mention about Vipin and his basket ball game… if I m gonna start praising him he’s gonna be blushed… :D :D but still… he’s got a very good game… J must appreciate him for that.. It was Vipin.. who became a very good friend.. but taruwaata.. we couldn’t get our hands on knives… lekapothe naa raktapaatam jarigi undedhi… :D :D :D

Soon enough it was the time for first internals… and so was it the time for first stay over at friends place… :D :D Vipin plans stay over at his place.. and his guests were.. :D :D myself, hari and Sravan… Planned to study so much… ended up doing nothing… yea yea.. slept off very soon… :D :D

Once i was home in the evening after getting off the bus and having Pani Puri on the way home… boom…  I get text from Sravan, Hari or Vipin… asking me to come out… ha ha.. akkadi nundi start ayindi gaali tirugudu… :D :D ROFL…!!! Most frequently… it was me and sravan.. on his super cool Scooty… :D :D (for the reason that his pulsar was stolen or something… :D :D)

Now it’s the time for the “Area Code Boys”… :D from Tirumelgherry… :D :D Sabby, Saki and Gajju… full on dikhaava.. :D :D It was the Applied Physics class.. Lecturer walked in.. took the attendance.. and started topic as well.. Saki next to me was busy playing game in my mobile.. :D :D He walked to our row.. grabbed the mobile and slammed it onto the floor… Lol..!!! My heart was literally blasted… :D :D I made all the plans of how to buy a new one in the same class… but I could only discover at the end of the class.. that my mobile was safe… :D :D tat was one hell of an experience…. :P :P

Atlast… the final exams arrive… No preparation started what so ever… :D :D first was the turn of 5 labs… Special mention is about EDC lab… OMG…!!! That was the first day ever.. I was tensed so much like never before.. If it was for any more longer… GOD…!!! When I picked up my question.. it was a silly one… for which I dint know how to answer it… :D :D a lab assistant had to come help me with my experiment…

And labs were followed by theory… Network Analysis.. ha ha ha… Aditya(A6), Myself (B0) and Vipin (B4)… we get the same set…all the exams were in the afternoon in our first year.The before night, we dint even finish one unit completely and same was our situation when the exam was just a couple of hours away… I don’t remember who among us  got this brilliant idea, but we came to a conclusion that we were gonna read one answer from each unit, prepare 5 answers… and write those what so ever was given in the question paper.We successfully did the same thing.. :D :D I got exactly pass marks, don’t remember vipin’s and aditya’s marks… LOL..!!! :D :D

All other papers went fine… J J The day of the results was the big day. Was literally hoping for AC(All Clear):D  Only after I get the confirmation, I’d say it to my pops..:)But paapam.. many of my friends.. flunked… :D :D sad..!!! The first year ended on a note of 2 months holidays… J

Aww, how could I forget to mention another important incident which was a major one in my first year…!!! He wasn’t in the bus for first one or two months… and then a random guy gets in to the bus almost at my stop.. All we knew was he’s from Pharmacy… :D :D One fine evening… on the way home in our bus.. As you know we were not supposed to carry mobiles.. this guy takes out his mobile and answers a call… Mr. Sandeep Patil(:D :D) caught him.. IT hod walks to him and snaps neck of the flip mobile in to two pieces.. HA HA HA HA…!!! ROFL… He is Mr.ROHIT Yadav…!!! I think nobody can abuse the way he did that day…!!! Ha ha ha.. But the sad part was.. For Pharmacy guys… they were allowed to carry mobile.. LOL…!!!

…. Gonna continue the rest of my engineering life in my further posts…!!! J

Seriously… The only thing which was in my mind when  I was writing this stuff was.. How wonderful were those days…!! J Fun all the way…!!! Miss all my friends…!! J

Um..! Life is beautiful.. and with such memories.. it is even more…!! J
