R-A-H-M-A-N-I-S-M-2.. The Sequel..!!

And here comes the sequel to RAHMANISM…!!! Its been quite a long time since I’ve been planning on this one…!!! Finally here it is…!!! Though the RAHMANISM post was lengthy(not for me though), I felt I hadn’t spoke lots n lots of stuff.. Hopefully I get to rite again something..

Well, I am going to speak about my favorite combo ever! The best combo according to me. Its ARR – SP Balasubramaniyam. The two have given amazing hits..!! Yea.. This is wat I m gonna speak about..

In the 90’s SP Balu had the Film Industry Spinning and Swinging as he wanted. He had Tolly, Kolly and Bolly in his arms. He ruled tollywood like the who.. Um.. Jus like Adolf Hitler(Ok History Apart… :P atleast for the sake that I know very little..:P) It was in that decade.. ARR delivered stupendous hits with Balu..

Starting with ARR’s debut album in the South India.. Roja.. Though, everybody is aware of the amazing tracks that movie has, it is very special to me.. As Balu sung 3 amazing songs in that one.. Naa Cheli Rojaave.. Nagamani Nagamani and the best one paruvam vaanaga.. though I love the hindi version Yeh Haseen Vaadiya.. 3 amazing tracks..!! I Still love listening them.. keep humming.. The Best ones…!!! :)

The combo continued delivering 2 more successful tracks in Gentleman Konte Gadne and Naa inti mundunna… I personally like both the songs.. extending their successful run with the all time super hit song Anjali Anjali from the movie Duet.!! Song takes off with amazing instrumentation…Wat a track it is.. If I m not wrong people still adore this one..!!

The movie Premikudu followed Duet.. and so is the hit combo.. Andamaina Prema raani not only sung by balu but he also features in the video.. is a very good number.. and Errani Kurradaani is another one… but Janaki dominates balu wit her amazing voice..

The movie with Super Star Rajni.. ARR music.. and SP Balu singing the intro song… Yes.. I am speaking about the movie Muthu.. Okade Okkadu Monagaadu…!!! Wat a splendid song…!!! This has been a rage in 95-96..!! This album has another song wit Balu.. Kalagaali le Prema Kannulo..!! A nice duet…!! :)

In 1996, A movie which revolutionized the love stories.. The Album which grabbed millions of Youth’s hearts.. Prema Desam.. One of the best ones ever by Rahman. And the Super Favo one for me is Prema Prema… Balu sung it amazingly. The interesting point about this track is the variation in Balu’s voice. Shifts from high pitch to low. Jus love it.!!! Very good song.. It was in the same year the two were on a roll..!!! Rahman delivered another blockbuster.. Bharateeyudu…!!! Man this album has the 2 amazing songs sung by SP…!!! Tepelalli Poyaaka… The music.. lyrics.. even the picturization.. No words.. one of my all time favorite ones..!!! and the other one from the album is Maaya machindra.. it is a good one too …!! :)

Later in ‘99… Rahman has delivered super hit albums taal, oke okkadu, Jodi and few more..!!! The Song Andaala Rakshasive from Oke Okkadu is a soft number, added to Balu’s voice is the female singer,Harini.. Wat an amazing voice she has.... a lovely one and kadile kalame jeevitham from Jodi, is a good duet..!!

The following year was the awesome one…!!! Started wit Pukar.. The best one ever… My number one ARR album Alaipayyuthey.. Sakhi(Telugu Version).. A song in Fiza(Piya Haji Ali..), Another best album Rhythm.. and ends the year with Zubeidaa…!!! Wat an year 2000 was…!!! :) Though Balu couldn’t be a part of Sakhi.. His Son SP Charan grabbed a chance and sung the most romantic song.. Alale Chittalale..!!! The lyrics are awe.. so is the on-screen chemistry of maddy and shalini.. :)

And the super hits came flowing by in 2002.. The songs that followed from this combo are from the super album Amrutha.. Ye Devi Varamu is one of the best from the album.. I jus love it… and the other one is Kadasaradhi.. The Same year has 2 more fantastic albums.. Baba and Premikula Roju.. Though Baba is not one of my favo one but I still listen them.. And Do I specially have to speak about how good Premikula Roju tracks are.. Balu again gets one of my favo song Prema ani… Super song…!! :)

And after a long gap of about 4 years.. It’s a song from experimental album Nani.. Typical Rahman style.. Balu sings “Chakkara ekkada”… Not many like this song.. was the same wit me either.. but I enjoy it..!! something different..!!

Slowly, the combo started fading… Ofcourse, as there is so much of new talent.. young singers paving their way… The last two songs till today from this super hit combo are Baleilakka from Sivaji.. and the other one that blew me up the first time I heard… its O Maramanishi from Super hit movie Robot…!!! Wat I felt about this song is Balu was al new in this song..!! Sung it so good I jus love it.. and all I could do was to add it to my list of all time favo numbers…!!! :)

These are the best ones from ARR and Balu…!!! The melodies which these two have given are soothing.. and are ever green for sure…!! :) Still hoping that they make many more.. Atleast expecting one from the Rajni’s Next.. Rana… for which ARR is composing music..!! :)

This is it from this sequel..!! Still many more to come..!! So much of Rahmanism…!!! I am very much excited about the next sequel..!!
